Q. How does the eXtender stay in place?
A. The weight of the table eXtenders are sufficient to keep them in place on top of your existing table. Providing your existing table is sturdy there should be no problem with the stability of the eXtender. We can also supply you for a small charge with some small plastic pads to be stuck to the underside of the extender to prevent it from slipping on your existing table if you require. Please select this option when ordering.
Q. What stops the eXtender from tipping?
A. Due to the weight of the eXtender there would need to be an excessive amount of weight put on the edge of the eXtender for them to tip up. We have done extensive tests and found that the table can support alot of weight.
Q. Can you make an Extender that folds into quarters?
A. Yes - We are now able to offer the QUAD FOLD option on all of our round eXtenders. This means the eXtender folds into 4, needing only quarter of the space for storage.
Q. How do I open my extender?
A. Safe unwrapping and handling of an eXtender requires two people. Please ensure you unwrap the extender carefully. To unfold your extender place it on the table/ surface you are going to use it on and unfold ensuring the centre is fully supported and does not fold back on itself.
Q. Does the eXtender have a top face?
A. Yes - This is very important, the hinged side should always be facing up. The hinges are flush with the surface and are easily covered by a table cloth. If you were to try using your eXtender the opposite way up this can cause the eXtender to brake as the pressure on the hinges could pull them out. eXtendatable can-not take responsibly if the eXtender is used incorrectly, we have done many extensive tests on the eXtender and if used correctly, the hinges will not pull out.
Q. How much can the eXtender overhang safely on my existing table?
A. As all tables are different shapes and sizes there is no universal answer. We would recommend that the max overhang of the eXtender on your existing table is 300mm. Support legs can be added to your order if you want to go longer or wider than the recomended overhang. These are adjustable to suit tables from 700mm to 900mm in height. Q. What are your delivery times?
A. All our eXtenders are made to order.We aim to dispatch all orders within 21 working days. Please check delivery page on the website for current lead times. If you need an eXtender sooner. Please contact us and we will try and accommodate you.
Q. Do you offer discounts on larger orders?
A. Please contact us for discounts if ordering more than 2 eXtenders.
Q. Can I return a table if it’s not to my liking?
A. As the products are manufactured specifically for orders we do not offer refunds unless you are not completely satisfied with the quality of your item. If this is the case then you will have to bear the cost and responsibility of returning the items in a safe and re-saleable condition.
Q. What if order the wrong size?
A. As the products are custom manufactured specifically for orders we do not offer refunds. To avoid this please measure your current table correctly and if unsure that the eXtender you wish to purchase will fit please contact us and we will advise you. We do offer a free design service for this purchase.
Q. What if my product is damaged in delivery?
A. We at eXtendatable take every care to ensure your product reaches you in perfect intact condition. However as we use a third party to courier the item mishaps do happen and the following advise should be followed.
If the product is damaged in transit please sign off as damaged on delivery and do not accept the delivery. We would need photographic evidence to support your claim. Please notify us (eXtendatable) within 24 hours as we are being advised by the couriers that claims after this time will not be accepted. If we receive notification within 24 hours of delivery we will fast track your replacement request.

Unfortunately if we are not notified of the damage within 24 hours of delivery of your product and/or you do not send us photographic evidence of the damage it may not be possible to honor a return or replacement.
Q. Can we collect/ visit your store?
A. In order to keep our prices down we are a 100% Internet based business and therefore unfortunately cannot take orders in person or offer a pick up facility for products purchased.
